In 1974 Gibson celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Les Paul Custom. At the 15th fret, an engraved 20th anniversary inlay commemorates these special guitars. All of the  other specs are typical of Les Pauls of the period. Mahogany body with a maple top. Three piece mahogany neck with a bound ebony fingerboard and pearl block inlays. Pearl split diamond headstock inlay and multiple binding. Gold hardware. The pickups are the original Patent Number Stamp. The neck shape is a typical medium slim 70s style.New frets professional job! The action is low from the nut to the bridge. The low fretless wonder frets make for incredibly easy chording and playability. These are probably one of the most collectible Les Pauls of that era.
